‘Book now and get a limousine complete with butler for your personal use!’ Yeah right. Nice isn’t that upper class. Admittedly, it is the pearl of the French Riviera and Monaco is within Segway distance but even us mortals can wine and dine with the best of them here and generally live it up. You can still exercise the jaw muscles on the Promenade des Anglais and at the Belle Epoque, home to the resident jet set. And if your horizons are a little broader, there are dozens of museums to counterbalance the up-beat tempo of the city’s nightlife. In other words, Nice is quite nice!
