Dropping someone off

Bringing someone to the airport? A lengthy farewell unnecessary? Then use the free drop-off zone located just a 5-minute walk from the Departures Hall.

Need more time to say goodbye? Then park at car parks P1, P2 or P3 and accompany your passengers to the Departures Hall. You can subsequently bid a leisurely farewell.

Drop-off area for quick goodbyes

Follow the signage to the drop-off area. The drop-off area is intended to allow departing passengers to quickly leave your vehicle. Cars may stop for a maximum of 10 minutes. Drivers who stop in the drop-off area for longer than 10 minutes will have to pay a fee of €10 + €2 per additional minute. Moreover, the driver can only make use of the free 10 minutes at the drop-off area once per hour. The driver must not leave the vehicle unattended. Thus you only have time for a brief farewell.

Parking for leisurely goodbyes

For a leisurely farewell, park your car in car parks P1, P2 or P3. These offer a special parking rate of 2 Euros per half hour for a parking duration of up to 1 hour. Giving you plenty of time for a leisurely farewell in the airport building.

Picking up someone

Are you picking up someone at the airport? Use the designated car parks: Parking 1, Parking 2 or Parking 3.

When on the access road (A201), follow the signs to one of these 3 car parks.

  • Parking for 30 minutes in P1, P2 or P3 costs €2
  • Parking for 1 hour in P1, P2 or P3 costs €4

Since 1/01/2017 a passenger can not be dropped off or picked up free of charge at P1 - P2 - P3.

Extra drop-off at BRU Cargo

You are planning to drop someone off at Brussels Airport and you will be driving along the E19 motorway coming from Antwerp?

This Kiss and Ride parking is free.

Just take exit 12 Cargo on the E19 and follow the signage towards Brucargo and the drop-off area. GPS coordinates: 50°54'18.4"N 4°27'09.8"E

From the remote drop-off area passengers can get on any De Lijn bus or shuttle bus - free of charge - to travel to the terminal. This will take about 10 minutes.

During the day the buses run every 5 minutes, at night they run every 15 minutes.

Most GPS-systems offer Brussels Airport as a POI (Point Of Interest). Alternatively, you could enter the intersection A201/Vilvoordelaan 1930. This intersection is located at the access road to our airport.
