Checking in before your departure
Checking in is an important part of your journey. When you check in, your presence is registered. This is important, for example, for your own safety. It is also important to check in your luggage as well as yourself. If you have only brought hand luggage, you can go straight to the screening.
How do you check in at the airport?
Under normal circumstances, you can check in for your flight in various ways. Currently, things are slightly different. Your airline company will advise you on how to check in during these COVID-19 times. We are happy to tell you about the 3 possible options.
Please note that the COVID-19 travel documents may be checked by the airline.
1. Online check-in
Most airlines allow you to check in online via your computer or mobile device can be checked in at the designated desk 24 or 48 hours before your departure. This way, you can complete your online registration at home or at the airport. The airline or your travel agency will send you a link to check in online via the airlines website.
2. Check-in with the app
When you install the app of the airline you are flying with on your smartphone, you can arrange your check-in through the app.

3. Check-in at the desk
If you have check-in luggage, you can check it in at the airline's dedicated desk. There you can also check in and get another boarding pass. The screens with the flight schedules will indicate which desk you need to go to.
Please Note: the check-in refers to the airline operating your flight. This could vary from the airline mentioned on your ticket. If this is the case your booking information will state: “Flight will be operated by (name of the company)”.
3. Express check-in
The Express Check-in counters are located at the check-in area, but also on bus- and train level. After checking in, drop off your baggage at your airline’s ‘baggage drop off’ desk.
